Lenovo and Microsoft asked us for a direct mail piece.
We convinced them they could do better.
In order to sell the unknown Lenovo W700 computer, built for photographers, we created an online contest: Tell us your dream photo assignment. Best idea wins $50K to go shoot it. Photographers knew squat about Lenovo, but that didn’t stop them from coming out by the thousands.

Contestants posted their dream assignments here, where voting took place (along with some subtle product promotion). Users could navigate the ideas via the Flash-based interactive map.
